Independence

Editorial choices are made by Emma Lou Jane. Brands cannot pay for placement in non-sponsored content or for positive coverage.

Research and accuracy

Product details are checked against retailer listings at the time of writing. Style advice draws on hands-on experience, fit testing and reputable sources.

Inclusive styling

We aim to show ideas that work across ages, sizes, budgets and body shapes, and say so when a piece runs small, large or has limited sizing.

Updates and corrections

Seasonal and shopping posts are reviewed regularly. If we find an error we correct it and note the change at the bottom of the post.
